It's only March and he is already using hyper hyperbolic language of existential crisis constantly. It's beginning feel like a Marvel Movie superhero series where each movie gets more existential crisis-y till you get to an existential threat against infinite universes.

This is what I was thinking too
As noted earlier it was quite windy and the orange menace was having difficulty reading the teleprompter as it was being buffeted by the wind.

He even said at one point during the speech that he was having trouble reading the prompter and blurted out "don't pay that teleprompter guy" as if it had something to do with the equipment.

I can envision an alternate universe in which the Great Orange Embarrassment lost in 2016; instead we had Madame President, 400K+ people lived who would have otherwise died of a horrible plague, the economy boomed instead of tanked, and people were not all at each others' throats... because our leaders led by example.

Existential crisis averted, and it didn't even require a finger snap.
