So do you need to download 2 things? I am confused.

I have safari 1.3.2 and OSX 10.3.9.. Mine is slow.

I have 10.4. I downloaded the program called webkit following the link above. It is called safari when running now on my mac. the download and install was extremely easy.

That is REALLY fast in comparison. I saw this on Digg earlier, but didn't believe the claim.

OK, I downloaded webkit which mounted itself as a volume then double clicked on it. Is this it? What happened exactly? Is it working?

keeps crashing on my iMac G4 running 10.4.5

can't see that it is ALL that faster, but does seem slightly so.

hey, Shiira is pretty neat.. not my complete ideal, but nice to see the browser interpreted a little differently

Anybody know what Drocera is? It's in the disk image along with Webkit.

The current version of Safari is 3.0.4. There's a world of difference between this version and the one you're using.
