Is Firefox 3.0 simply unusable on macs?

I wonder having often Mac-based FireFox users are misidentified as Windows users in web surveys?

Under-representing the Mac user base can be harmful.

The browser reports itself as running on a Mac unless you've changed the user agent string.

No problems here but not a lot add-ons. Every time I add Adblock or
Flashblock it seems to get squirrelly and slower than before so I say let
them load.

I use Flashblock, and am not aware of any slowness or other issues.

Works fine except on some sites I can't login to complete a purchase (e.g. newegg, buy.com) - have to use safari instead.

Make sure your not blocking cookies on those sites...

OK, I dumped all of my add-ons and it's a lot faster (though still uses way more resources than Safari). I'll see about adding a few back and see if that wrecks things again.
