they probably thought it was a prank.

then Shop-Rite should have required them to come in and pre-pay before the cake was decorated.

A business has a right to turn away business and a business has a right to accept business. Somebody manufactures all those KKK robes and prints all those wingnut pamphlets. Shop-Rite was within its rights and so was Wal-Mart.

WTF?

America is so great because there are no laws against naming your kids after horrible people, or even a movement that attempts to put down an entire race.

I think the parents are nuts and I feel sorry for the children.

"I think people need to take their heads out of the cloud they've been in and start focusing on the future and not on the past," Heath Campbell said Tuesday...

These dolts need to take their own heads out the clouds of whatever they've been smoking if they think the past should be so ignored that names such as they picked for their children would not have consequences. Prior to WW II naming a kid Adolph Hitler might have been quite okay, but afterwards it is a statement that many will find problems with.

As for the stores, they don't have to serve if they do not want to. They are not the government. Free speech does not apply, and the cake order does not fall under any of the other equal access or non-discrimination laws.
