We've had the "Pay it Forward" threads on some Car Forums I participate in.
First to respond gets it (shipping due on bigger items) but the deal is, they now have to post something up in order to keep the process going.

I say skip any expectation of reciprocation. Just make it about "stuff should get used."

I would say keep it as simple as possible. Along the lines of I have X,Y,Z, PM me if you want it, would be my suggestion. All the shipping details should be worked out via PMs.

Remember, everything should be free, except for actual shipping. We cannot have anything being bought or sold on the Forum, but giving away should be OK.
