Why do a good many dog owners walk dogs in neighborhoods and allow them to potty on other people's mailboxes, driveways,
#11
Big Guy, I just don't know why folks don't let the dogs go in their own yard and then walk them. Condo dwellers need to be extra considerate because of the proximity, but they are worse.

Roaming cats are starting to be a problem in the area also.

And they're lazy.

And they're hypocrites.

Like this should be news to anybody.

My dog will only go in our back yard. When we take her on drives/trips, it's almost impossible to make her go. She never thinks about it when on walks. Is it mostly a male dog thing?

Well I am really mad at myself for getting in a shouting match with this nutcase and my neighbor. She was on MY property with her dogs for Christ's Sake.

Next time I am just going to get the camera out and gather my evidence and make a report.

Is there any repellant that I could use that would not harm the animals? I am tired of the stench.

Many places do have ordinances against allowing your pet to relieve themselves on others' properties. and require the pet owner to clean up if they do. But there are many inconsiderate owners who think it is their right to use any place they want. In any case, my town does enforce the ordinance here. Former renter in the property next to mine used to let his dog crap on my property. That ended up quick with one call to the dog officer. He tried to use the excuse that it was from all the other owners in the neighborhood, but since I knew them and the stuff only started showing up after he moved in, that did not work as an excuse. It can be treated as trespass by the police as well, that is what our dog officer would call in on repeated complaints.

Get yourself a motion detector activated sprinkler. That should take care of cats, dogs, and people.

The neighbor that got involved called me miserable and then began a "kitchen sink" argument... dragging in every topic from my watering, to my wardrobe and the frequency in which I wear my outdoor clothes.....

Glad to know that this idiot has nothing better to do than monitor my mental health, wardrobe and defend irresponsible dog owners.

LOL, he told me that I have worn the same clothes for 3 months and could I wear something else.
Funny thing, I just bought the pants I had on last week.

This 5 foot tall jerk, works at Macy's for Chanel Cosmetics. I guess he thinks I should be doing my outside chores in Chanel clothes......

I just told him, "Girl, you are no Fashion Plate yourself, so go on home and don't worry about me.
And what does that have to do with dog poop anyway?"

My neighbor works in fragrance for one, then another major designer. She is very nice. Following her car, whose trunk is full of cologne samples, you can literally smell them one car back.
