economy of scale. How many ZIF machines are their to be upgraded that WILL be upgraded, and how many AGP G4 machines that aren't MDD boxes that can/will be upgraded. All the non MDD AGP machines use essentially the same upgrades. That's a lot of boxes that can use the same upgrade cards. And AGP G4s can FW boot. ZIF machines can't.
