Who puts the HATE in HAITI? You guessed it! A Christian leader!

They are both horrible, horrible people. I do not wish ill on people but if ill lands on either one, I would not be one crying one second.

They are the worst that we have to offer as a species.

What did he say that was wrong? That politicians take advantage of disasters to make themselves look good? Is this news?

He, Pat Robertson, said that the Haitian's made a deal with the devil, not a figurative one, he said they met up with the devil himself, to get out from under the rule of the French, many years ago, and that is why they have been so poor and have now suffered this disaster. He also said that the only way for them to ever do any better was to repent and yada, yada, yada. That is what he said that was wrong.

If you are talking about Rush, I have no idea what he said and I could not care less.

Dakota, you are probably the main reason that I do not post here very much. You are either trolling or you really can't see what makes these folks tick. Who gives a sh!t about politics where there are people dead or dying? I could not care less about anyone's view on how Haiti is affecting things (why it happened or that some idiot links a disaster to political gain) as that is largely irrelevant.

Now is the time to help those in Haiti and keep your damn mouth shut. Robertson is classless to say ANYTHING about why it happened. Who gives a f**k about what Rush thinks (well, maybe you do). He seems to say anything that will gain attention and ratings, regardless of how half-cocked he comes across.

You really need to step away from your keyboard and get outside more.

First, I was talking about Rush. I have no interest in Robertson. He has a political show and he was looking at it from that angle. If Obama had not put himself out immediately everyone would come down on him as having a deaf political ear as well as insensitivity to a human tragedy. What Rush said was just commenting on the first part.

Here's an interesting response to Robertson's remarks. He's a better man than I.

The former GOP Presidential Candidate gives us Christians a bad name. He thinks that my people are the Whore of Babylon, etc.

I was taught that all humanity - and that includes Muslim fundamentalists, Rush Limbaugh, etc. -- are God's children and that the Golden Rule applies to them, too.

When one of the Pharisees asks Jesus "who is my neighbor?" he responds with the parable of the Good Samaritan. If you wanna know in 2010 who your neighbor is, just look at some of the graphic images of acute human suffering in Haiti.

You need to get out more. There is a lot of good in people yet you will not know it for the likes of Rush. He is no different than the child at the birthday party who throws a temper tantrum when the birthday child opens presents. His camp, as well as the band of people on the extreme left, are filled with nothing but angry, small people.
