District 9, Star Trek and Outland all get my vote. I enjoyed Watchmen too, if you have a broad definition of "sci fi"; not the greatest movie ever, but a fun (if dark) lazy day movie. 2012 is in the Netflix envelope I pulled from the mailbox yesterday and Book of Eli will be my next Wednesday (probably Thursday this week) Movie Night movie.

District 9 is the best SciFi I've seen in a while, best of 2009. Star Trek 2nd and Avatar 3rd.
If you have netflix, there are many many episodes of MST available ![]() |
