Should the NFL change OT rules for playoffs and Super Bowl?

1st - I really don't care about the NFL
2nd - I care even less about the Patriots
3rd - When I did care, I always disliked the NFL OT rule


So with those establishing facts, Change it to the NCAA format. As wacky as it may seem, it is fair to both teams and fun for the fans.

Of course that means the No Fun League will never even discuss it.

Maybe if the Falcons had not worn their defense out or been overly reliant on rookies who do not have NFL level conditioning then maybe the OT rules would have worked for them.

I'm with cyclemax. Hardly an "incredible" advantage. I'd say the team that had the "incredible" advantage would be the team that just scored 25 straight points in a little over a quarter and a half.

Not saying the current OT rules are perfect, just not buying the "it's unfair" cry.
