Attempt on POTUS

It wasn't an attempt on the president. No one believes he sits at his desk with a letter opener and opens all of the mail addressed to him.

Besides TV what else does he have to do?

Waste of time. Better to administer it from an underage “model”.

Don’t know if this has ever been successful. A couple of people were murdered by ricin-contaminated bullets, but ricin itself isn’t absorbed through the skin.

Fun fact: a ricin-contaminated letter was mailed to President Obama (and two other people) by a Texas actress. No one was injured. She’s currently serving around 15 years.

As with any "gift," it's the thought that counts.

The attack may or may not have been real; publicizing it a few weeks before the election is a political move.

It's hard to believe a spokesperson for a man who has told over 20,000 lies in less than 4 years.

Donald Trump at his rallies this week has been saying he thought it was a "beautiful thing" when MSNBC reporter Ali Velshi was hit by a rubber bullet while covering the protests that followed the murder of George Floyd, at the hands of police. And his cult members cheered!

This is just the latest example of the president celebrating and inciting violence against people he considers political enemies. You don't have to wait many days for a new one.

And he said he would pay the bill for the violence. Whether he will or not is questionable and untested.

Yes, surely an exaggeration at best.
