The problem with the born again evangelicals dominance over a certain political segment is that what someone did before she "found god" and was "born again" doesn't matter. Only what they do now could have meaningful impact, and if their faith is strong enough and their fervor sufficiently strident I'm not sure anything they do now could sway their followers.

Being able to start over after previous sins is a feature of Christianity, not a bug. Just saying. Doesn't excuse you from criminal prosecution, though. Lucky for her, abortion is legal. Prostitution seems to be only frowned upon below a certain dollar amount.
