Yeah. He said it himself in the third debate.

I remember the debate as being a hair longer than that one statement, but then again my memory's not what it used to be. Are you sure he didn't say anything else about the housing crisis?

Please read and digest the post before attacking the message.

I agree that, as presented, the writer makes a valid argument about the possible negative consequences a moratorium could have on the market, but would you please provide a link to where this 90 day moratorium on foreclosures appears in conjunction with a plan being presented by Obama, now that he has been elected?

I do remember hearing about this during the campaign, but a Google search didn't give me anything current, although I admit to sometimes being search challenged. The only thing I've heard recently was a moratorium by Freddie and Fannie through the holidays, but that's due to expire on January 9th, which is before Obama even takes office. Thank you!

OK, mac help needed here. Firefox 3.x, OS 10.5.5.
My browser's "find" feature is not working.
When I search the debate text it doesn't find "moratorium," "foreclosure" or "90 day" at all, and the only references to "freeze" are in regard to global government spending.

Yeah. Neither did mine, but that doesn't mean it's not there. Absence of evidence, and all that.

(On the other hand, I'd certainly allow that I'm just not seeing it!)

Sorry, he said nothing of the sort during the debate.

However, one can find verification of my statement elsewhere:

Actually, I found you a better source.

Right from the horse's mouth at change.gov. Use "find" to dig up "foreclosure". It was the second result down for me.

"the Clinton (D-AK) administration"

How did Sarah Palin ever avoid Clinton up there in Alaska?
