I am not due for an upgrade for my 6+ till March, so I may just wait for the 2017 Version of the iPhone and it damn well better have wireless charging.

.....iPhone 7 will come with buds with lightning connector and lightning to 3.5mm adapter......headphone jack removed....

We already went through this with the 2000's `Douchetooth` earpieces.

I can't keep earpods in my ears
no way airpods will stay in with a battery hanging off.
I'll need a big rubber band around my head. Or ear clip beats 3 style design

No headphone jack, no sale! I use my headphones about 8 hours a day. I don't think any iPhone will run continuously for that long!

No iPhone, no more App Store purchases. no more iTunes purchases...its a cascade! I really hoped Apple wouldn't do this... no I have to respond. If enough people do this, maybe Apple will blink like they did with the buttonless shuffle!

Airpods are only 5 hours charge, so they are not a replacement either!
