My AAPL holdings are not what they once were... AAPL helped me buy a house a few years ago. I still keep some, but about half what I had.

Now, my shares of TSLA that I expected to hit $800 a share in about 5-7 years... THAT is the first stock that makes me a little dizzy to watch because it's doing WELL. Usually dizziness is because something is tanking!

AAPL, TSLA, and AMZN have nearly DOUBLED my holdings over the last year. It's a little nerve wracking, to be honest... but, in a good way!

I kinda hear u Paul. Never expected this much this fast, and it’s kinda dizzying. Though ultimately I don’t care too much about it, as I’m looking at the long haul. Even the current bull run on TSLA (assuming it tops out around $2800 pre-split...give or take a few hundred) I expect to pull back based on historical records to anywhere from $1000 on the very low end to $2000. But those expectations are based on a very volatile history. Tesla may be a more mature company going forward, so who knows.

In Sept they'll likely announce new hardware and ship new software. Then the quarter will end at the end of Sept, results will be announced sometime in Oct with the first hint of how the new hardware is selling.

Then they'll have a full quarter of sales with results sometime in Jan, which will include the holiday season.

Every move they make seems to be timed to keep momentum going.

The Big Fear from stagnant stock is the inability to recruit and retain top talent. Not an accident that M$ stock went flat, then the company stayed flat - engineers could go to Apple, or Google or Amazon etc.

I worry we are in a mini bubble in general.
