Attempt on POTUS

Donald Trump at his rallies this week has been saying he thought it was a "beautiful thing" when MSNBC reporter Ali Velshi was hit by a rubber bullet while covering the protests that followed the murder of George Floyd, at the hands of police. And his cult members cheered!

This is just the latest example of the president celebrating and inciting violence against people he considers political enemies. You don't have to wait many days for a new one.

When Trump supporters say "They are sick of the violence" they mean they are sick of black people protesting.

The violence against black people and reporters is okay, though. Because they deserve it.

Witness their hero worship of the kid that murdered two people in Kenosha.

why would they even try something like this? there is literally 0% chance of success. Seems dumb.

Wait, are you implicating the Mckenzie brothers?

No one believes he sits at his desk with a letter opener and opens all of the mail addressed to him.

I don't think they would let him have something as sharp as a letter opener.

Remember what a pretzel did to W?

A woman was just arrested at the Canada/New York border on suspicion of having sent the ricin.

That was quick!

I would think that if you were able to lay your hands on some ricin, you would be able to mail a few letters without being caught. I think I could buy a box of envelopes, print out some labels, attach some stamps and drop them in a blue box on a dark street (in the USA), all the while well wearing gloves and a mask.

Oh fer gawd sakes. Per CNN, the letter sent to Trump...

contained a granular substance with similar physical characteristics to ground castor beans.

Ground castor beans? You can buy castor beans on the internet. Yes, castor beans contain ricin, in miniscule amounts. But castor beans, whether ground or not =/= ricin.

It’s like if someone sent Trump a arrangement of poppies, and the FBI said it was attempt to kill him with opium.
