So Palin pals around with drug dealers?

6 felony drug charges and a $5000 bail suggests more than a person with a drug problem.

That's unfortunate for the mom. Hope she gets straight.

I'll bet no one here has ever had a parent with a drug or alcohol problem.

There is a a difference between having a parent (or spouse or partner) with an addiction and dealing illegal drugs. That difference becomes more pronounced when the person doing the dealing is the one that's supposed to be setting the example for the children they're raising.
So we blame the children for the sins of the parents ? Sweet of you.
In-laws too. Extra sweet.

There are reasons a good person might end up with an addiction (chronic intractible pain for example). There is no way one would deal in addictive substances unless one had a fundamental inability to distinguish right from wrong.
It is naive to suggest that such values, or lack of values, don't get passed along to one's children. I wouldn't go as far as to suggest that it's an automatic reflection of the character of everyone that person associates with (although, unless there's a post missing here, a-dog didn't either).

The story has been updated.

Police have indicated that the arrest was related to OxyContin.

'Still no statement whether she was getting high, selling it or both.

The fact that it involved a long "undercover" investigation suggests to me that she was selling it.

I don't even have to close my eyes. You are absolutely correct.

Geez pete. Where do you get that she pals around with the lady?

Maybe, but not necessarily. I know someone who was released on bail for 5000 who was growing a few mj plants.

Who cares, I guess? It's clear Palin is a drug dealer.

It's just fashionable to hate Palin, and thankfully fashion never lasts long. kj.

Using her own logic against her yes, she's a drug dealer by association.

Happy now?

I figured it was payback. It's really not even close to the same situation, but I guess it's close enough for those who tend to be motivated by revenge. kj.
