Wow. Better step away from the keyboard, Swampy.

swampy, why do you continue to post these nutty ideas here? Do you think you will convince anyone here? No. Every time you post the same thing again, we go from "That's nuts" to "That's really nuts" to "That's really really nuts."

I just don't understand the heart burn over this. So what if the White House held its cards for a few days while the information was being processed? The Ambassador was dead, and that was not going to change. Just because a group made a claim does not make it automatically verified. OF COURSE the WH was being measured in its public response in an election season. DUH. Obama knows the jackals are craving any scrap of error to jump on--the House impeached a President for a blow job, for crying out loud. Blaming the wrong group would be decried just the same as blaming the wrong video was.

Foreign policy is all about measured response anyway. But when your definition of "measured response" is to make up crap to justify invading a country, I can see where being publicly vague for a few days can be upsetting.

Really, there's nothing mysterious about this. A year ago we knew the GOP would have nothing on Obama so they'd have to manufacture their dirt from scratch. And here we are.

This nothing more than their "Swift Boat" issue. Attack Obama where he is seen to be strong, do it vociferously and do it often and it will cost their target votes. If during the Reagan reelection campaign his opponents had used the death of 250+ Marines against him, the right would have howled with indignation and accused the attackers of refusing to keep politics within the boundaries of the oceans.

Bunch of two-faced hypocrites is what I see.

swampy used to rarely make spelling errors. Now she does it all the time - this is the sign of someone descending into madness.

If the mission had failed, would you have blamed the Seals?

The Obama Team (OT) was quick to put forth and maintain the the video story based on little evidence. Taxpayers even paid $70K for a video ad shown in Pakastan saying the US had nothing to do with the creation of the video. Where are any further reports that support a spontaneous demonstration based on protest of the video? The overwhelming evidence and testimony since the event has shown the video theory to be untrue.

OT promised they would release information as it became available "in real time". The WH has given us nothing. What evidence we have of what took place has come from testimony before Congress, statements of various intelligence players and materials gathered by the media.

And what of the man who created the video? He was promptly arrested on a probation violation charge and jailed without bond. Is this the OTs version of "we will bring them to justice"?

We know of one attacker, Ahmed Abu Khattala, openly drinking frappes in a cafe in Benghazi. The OT is helpless to do anything because they have no agreements on capture or extradition of terrorist suspects in Lybia where the OT claims a Winter Spring "win" by the "friendly forces". An American rots in jail for exercising his free speech rights while a suspected murderer of our Ambassador and three other Americans thumbs his nose at us?
