I am using a 10 gallon, and vacuum only what I can roll to the laundry sink and lift (about 6 gallons at a time). I try to keep up with the water as it comes in, rather than let it build up and stand.

I have a larger one I have never used past the first time. Too hard to move around and get through to the sink to empty.

I have a six gallon, and I can't even handle that when it's full, but at least I don't need to use it to suck up flood water.

I'm sorry you're getting so much rain. We need some. Sad

A six gallon would be about right for my use. I have a forty gallon or so, not good for much but dry vac, very cumbersome, wheels fall off.

These things are not designed well, hoses are not flexible, wheels are poor.

Everything is nice a green and lake levels in GA are up, but enough is enough. I wonder if this means they will lower our water rates now that there is no drought....NOT.

You know those 200,000 acres that burned in the mountains north of LA? Well, it's still Fire Season out here, and next up, an El Nino Rainy Season. It's gonna get ugly I'm afraid - well, muddy for sure.

Drought, schmout--it's been raining in Atlanta for over a week, and there's no end in sight, at least in the forecasts. A duck drowned in my back yard yesterday...
