A question: Why did Obama in his Ft.Hood report
#1
---talked about the Indian Conference for about 1 1/2 min. before going to the reason for the press conference...The Ft. Hood Massacre? I could not believe my eyes and ears that he spoke of the Conference BEFORE talking to us about Ft. Hood. Such a robot.

Do you mean when he was offering the closing remarks at the Tribal Nations conference?

I found a blog where somebody is offended that Obama refers to his position as Commander-in-Chief, and then has the audacity to use the word "me."

Don't be so hard on youself Sam. There's a thought somewhere inside you that's not pre-programmed.

It wasn't a press conference. He was making remarks at the closing of the Tribal Nations Conference. If you'd bother to go to whitehouse.gov. you'll see that he cut short his conference remarks and spent the bulk of his time on the tragedy at Ft. Hood.

Is this the video that you may have seen a poorly edited version of Sam ?
This one cuts the rest of the speech out.

Presidents and speakers tend to stick to scripted robotic -like speeches so they don't sound like Biden or Bush.
-and keep an eye off the teleprompter for flying shoes.
