Listen up Ink Militant InkJet Combatants!
#1
I'm not Wilhem (though I often play one when I put on my Nazi outfit..., and Giselle comes over!), HOWEVER.....

Regarding the EnviroInks link I posted the other day.... HERE IS WHAT I'ma GONNA DO!

I'm going to print 3 identical photos --- with Epson, HP and EnviroInk (in the Epson, since that is the
one that is running out and I ordered for).

yes.... I'll print plenty to make sure there isn't residual inks blah blah blah.... in the Epson R260.

And THEN -- all three will get hung in the kitchen - ON THE WINDOW facing the southern sky.

THEN --- we shall revisit this day on the day of my choosing. If I see dramatic changes that
prove that one ink has water added instead of INK, I'll notify everyone immediately. If after
6 months of staring directly into the sun (this window gets it come March, from noon until
sunset), it's the best "accelerated aging" test you'se is gonna get without a machine pumping
UV at high strength in an ozone atmosphere.

THIS, THIS I DO FOR YOU, you unappreciative f#$%^ks!

Any other requests?

Are you in the northern hemisphere or southern hemisphere?

Vote to make this a Sticky, and to leave it up until March.

there must be a way to speed up the UV testing.

Get the pictures a membership to a tanning salon.

Put a 1" or so strip of paper across each of them to better see the changes on each one. I tested inks for lightfastness this way years ago.

Maybe keep a control in a mylar envelope in a dark drawer?

all will be done when I get the ink here and get the R260 emptied.

I'm in Atlanta. So I've got a great window that faces south south/west (such a view, it raises the temp 20
degrees every day - even today) - and they'll be a looking that way. Winter will be over March 1 here.
Last year was a freak on March 1 (the first snow!).

It just reminds me of construction paper in a class room.

Also... don't make this a sticky. It will just fade by the time the photos are done.
