The guy who tends the grounds where I work brought one in the other day. Apparently it just landed on his hand.

DP, put out a feeder if you want to see them regularly. We have them pretty thick around here, but also had them at the feeders down state.

Hummingbird Rescue Leader !!!! Well done. They are such brilliantly beautiful and fragile little critters. We had one or two in our yard this summer, but they've already begun their migration. I hope they come back next year.

We had one in the house back in July - she got up in the skylight, I had to use the extension duster to finally get her down - she grabbed it and I shook her outside.
