Softscrub=1, DVD scratches=0

It's not the best polisher but it resurrected a rental DVD and saved me a trip. The disk actually looks worse now but plays finally.

Interesting, I would have guessed it would trash a DVD.

Softscrub DID scratch the disk— now it has swirls all over it. That's why it looks bad. But apparently they are benign compared to the deeper things it polished away.

What did you use with the Softscrub to polish it, soft cloth or what? I have a hand crank DiscDoctor device that usually works.

Baking Soda or Dollar Store "plain white toothpaste" works too. I use an old cotton sock or tee-shirt for the job.
