I hate having to leave my office in the dark, but since I am up at 5 a.m., it would be nice to see the sunrise.

I don't mind having brighter mornings; it's the early darkness that irks me because my body's clock thinks it's bedtime. I have so much to complete before the next day.

Having kids, I love having the extra daylight in the hours after school, so I'm a big fan of DST. I never do like it when it's already bright sunlight when I'm first getting up. And I'm with kap on the body clock thing; always so much to do between end-of-work and bedtime.

The sun is coming over the mountains here about 10am. Do you think it's really going to make that big of a difference? Now I'll get to both go to work and go home in the dark. Yay.

I prefer driving to work in the dark and get home when it's still light. However, I am unproductive ... umm, non-productive for graveyard shifts.

Here in Arizona we don't have no truck with none o' that FDR New Deal whatnot. Figure we got too much daylight as it is. We never touch our clocks; just shift from Pacific to Mountain.
