adobe elements 9 for mac-does it handle raw?

i'm thinking of purchasing the adobe elements 9 for mac ($50/costco).

the reviews i've read have been decent.

does anyone know if it is capable of handle raw images?

i would like to transition from jpeg and work more in raw.

any and all thoughts are appreciated.

Yes, I have PSE 6 and it handles RAW.

I have PSE 8, and it handles raw.

If you're going to work in the RAW make sure to pull down the window shades.
