1080p 60p in a consumer-level camera is not very common. Even on the lower-end pro-sumer cams, usually 1080p30 is the highest available. 720p60p is more commonly an option on prosumer models. I don't know consumer-level cams very well, FWIW.

I have the Panasonic HDC-TM700K. Very happy with it so far. I haven't shot at 1080p/60 yet. One issue is that I don't think that iMovie supports 1080/60 yet. If I have some time today, I will do a test shoot and report back.

I shot some video in 1080/60p. iMovie won't import it. Adobe Premiere CS5 won't either. I can play the video in VLC. I read somewhere that you can edit iMovie's pList to get it to import the 1080/60p video, but can't find the directions.
