I thought in American we could vote on what we wanted. It's a little more complicated than that. Direct democracies do not prevail. Tyranny of the majority and all.

Since it's the 9th court of appeals, we'll be hearing about 'activist judges' all the way up until the supremes back it up. AND THEY WILL!
BUT, in the mean time, celebrate another victorious battle in the war against hate. PS - and sam, I'm disappointed. You should know better.
