Here's his major announcement from 5 years ago. These announcements tend to be a bit exaggerated. They are working on nuclear energy and he's very excited about it, so I don't think this is anything to be alarmed about. Although Imadinnerjacket will relish the headlines.

I agree. As I recall you're usually a strong advocate for taking Iran at its word. So let's hope the announcement is something positive, such a excess capacity due to more efficient power generation that it is willing to share regionally.
