Free Monday ... Opening Salvo
#1
Since I have to get up and go work with mrs. cbelt3 at 0500 to install a network line in her office as a side job, I'm going to post this in advance.

Free for cost of shipping One per customer. First PM with a Worthy Tale of Your Expected Use gets it.

Shipping via USPS from 44060. Sending via UPS is just murder...

I prefer to give them to someone who will hug it and squeeze it and call it 'George', maybe give it to a needy adult or little kid after some fixing up. These things are very rugged. If you plan on reselling it on eBay.. pfft. Nah.

One Ibook (Clamshell) Blueberry- G3 300.. CD drive. RAM... I forget. 256M ? .. Will Run OSX 10.3. Famously won as a prize on a DM contest from Smalldog in 2000 ! Works ! Battery life is 0.000 seconds. Two spare dead batteries provide for your entertainment. Charger (from OWC) included. Will be reloaded with default install, and comes with install discs. Power jack is 'iffy'.. common problem. Includes spare power jack. for you to install.

One iBook (Clamshell) SE 466 (Graphite). DVD drive. RAM is 1G.... bought from OWC last year, but decided it wasn't worth more effort. Will run OSX 10.4. Works ! Battery life is about 30 minutes.. I think. Also includes two dead batteries for you to play with. Charger (from OWC) included. Will be reloaded with default install, and comes with install discs. Power jack is 'iffy'.. common problem. Backlight is 'iffy', includes Apple Spare part for backlight issue. I forget what it's called.

And if ANYONE wants a Performa 636 TV that works, or a G3 (Beige) that works, let me know. Not really worth shipping, but hey.. if you wanna drive through Cleveland I can drop 'em into your car from an overpass  . They're going to the Big Recycling Center in the Sky next week. I was tempted to force takers of an iBook to take one, but that's like taping a brick to the 'postage paid' postcard.. just too mean.

Have fun, and enjoy your Holiday ! (ed: assuming you have one. I'm working !)

I have a few items to list here:

1. iPod/MP3 player cassette adapter. Plug into the headphone jack and then into your car's cassette deck to be able to listen to your iPod over your car radio.

2. Griffin Technology SmartDeck - cassette adapter similar to above but plugs in to the dock connector. It doesn't work with all iPods or iPhones, so check and make sure it will work with yours.

3. iPod car charger

4. Buffalo Routers - 4 total. All are 54G models and have been very reliable. I'm not 100% sure of the model numbers, but can check on Monday evening when I get back home.
- WBR-G54 (x2)
- WBR2-G54
- WBR2-G54S
- the routers all work and have been extremely stable. Our house has mostly built-in ethernet wiring, so I don't need these. They can also be flashed to DD-WRT or Tomato.

Items are free for cost of shipping from 30342.

Happy Labor Day, and if you have to work, don't work too hard.

what i gots:
kids books, ages 1-4
kids clothes - probably not worth shipping, but boys clothes in the 1-4 range

ibook g4 12" for parts. I have not taken this apart just yet* but I'm going to tackle it soon (and that means like the coming month). If you are looking for parts, let me know. bad logic board, I think.

*slight possibility that I would try to get it running but that is very slight.
