Click "view the gallery" in the upper right corner.

They look nice to me, but I'm no pro.

Great squirrel. Wonder how they got so close without getting their nose scratched.

I like to see pictures taken by a 2MP camera too. Not hard to make pictures look good online.

My late FIL's 1.3MP Olympus D-600L took wonderful pictures which print out great up to 5x7 and of course look great on Le Web.

Yeah, print 'em out and see how you like it then. They are certainly pleasing images, but what you don't see are the "I'm out with my friends in a dark bar" photos because there would be so much low-light noise it would be embarrassing. Of course I do not expect that much of a camera-phone. There is a reason pros use DSLR's, but it is nice to know that the quality of the iPhone camera is probably among the best of any cell phone.

you know, I"m no fanboy, but I could be persuaded on the merits of a decent phone cam/video cam alone.

(still not interested in a data plan, though)

Strange Gallery, they were automatically zoomed in on when I clicked on them. They don't look too bad if
they're real. As you can tell I'm in a crappy mood today, spending way too much time thinking today.

I'm guessing they set the iPhone cam up to take pics using a timer (like , snap a shot every 10 seconds or whatever) and placed a peanut or 100 by the camera to attract the squirrels. I'm guessing the pic came out so well due to planning and luck. Cool shot, though.

I might be impressed when a 3rd party posts iPhone 4s photos, but not Apple.

What about the photo taken by the campfire in the iPad commercial? That gadget is known to have one of the crappiest cameras out there yet the photo it look under low light conditions looks gorgeous.
