If you click on the "Download full-resolution photo" box the squirrel one is shown in a resolution of 3264 x 2448 and the Device model is iPhone 4S. Looking at the "Get Info" of the pic shows exposure time, etc., etc. LyleH

Maybe they hacked the photo tag, just kidding. What's the date and I'm going to assume there's no "last modified on date".
Actually I'm pretty impressed by some of the photos out of my iPhone 4 if the lighting is right, inside they're pretty
bad and the LED flash doesn't help much.

I might be impressed
Who cares.
The web is full of great third party pics taken with the iPhone 4. Apple lied about the quality of that camera too, no doubt, but through a fluke, a lot of people have taken a lot of great shots.
Only idiots think Apple is trying to compare this to a 1D MkII or even some of the better PnSs. And only idiots would make that comparison themselves.
but what you don't see are the "I'm out with my friends in a dark bar" photos because there would be so much low-light noise it would be embarrassing.
Which is not only true of every other cellphone camera, but a *lot* of PnSs as well. Nobody is saying that this is a camera for any possible occasion.
The best camera you have is the one with you when you want to take a picture. Apple said that at the Event. It's been said a lot before that, and Apple realizes that a lot of people have stopped carrying the "second" camera, the non-pro camera because the 4's camera is really good.
So despite the fact that Apple certainly photoshopped the images and that they were taken with a 1D and not the 4S, (yes, Apple hacked the EXIF) there will be some great pics posted shortly after the 4S ships.
Shame, SHAME on you pinkoss, for shilling the gallery for Apple. I downloaded some of those "unretouched" photos and once I opened them up off line, they were so disgustingly inferior that I'm going to take an awl to the lens as soon as I get the 4S. I won't be a party to this you-can’t-believe-it’s-on-a-phone camera hoax.
