What kind of idiot falls for this?
For that kind of money, you should be going to a "real" University for a real degree, not something that looks & reads like you got it out of a Cracker Jack box...
I think "real" Universities have admission requirements.
I'd like to see that tested if you sat down in an admissions office and pulled out $25,000 in cash.

It's the "evryone goes to college" syndrome whether you have the academic ability or not. Here's to the vocational schools that teach the trades. We will always need plumbers, mechanics, dry wallets, truck drivers and the like. And if it's income you want I just got the bill from my plumber for replaceing my water heater...$18 an hour and I'm assuming that's cheap compared to what they probably charge in urban areas.

If it weren't for those pesky unions and tradesmen's organizations, you wouldn't have to pay an $18/hr living wage to skilled workers! Once we break those unions, you'll be able to get your water heater fixed for minimum wage (less if we repeal
those job-killing laws), with all the parts imported from developing countries. Won't that be great?

Nothing wrong with encouraging people to seek careers in practical trades. We need them as much as we need engineers and doctors.
Skilled trade unions (e.g., carpentry, plumping) provide the training via their own programs and apprenticeships. When they finish with you, you know your stuff.
The for-profit model, on the other hand, looks like it's producing crap.

These online universities are also pros at cashing in on vets and their GI bills. Freaking amazing.

People are just now noticing this? I'm not sure the answer is to just let the taxpayer pay the debt (bankruptcy, etc.), unless we all get to have our "stupid tax" paid off. But somebody sure as heck should go after these "schools". And for that matter, whoever made the loans available for this purpose. 75k to be a Massage Therapist? These people will never pay back their loans. So we pay. kj.
