i mostly disagreed with Dakota, but i didn't ignore him/her, nor did i ever report a post.
i'm OK with dissent and debate here, so long as it doesn't get too ugly.

Re Lpete - I agree _ I think he's a goner. I actually had an odd friendship with him. He once put up an ode to his dad that included a lot about his aunt - a climbing pioneer in the sierras. I had heard of this woman and was able to find Pete's ID. I think he'd be about 75 now - so that's certainly in the range where death is a possibility. No way he would just walk away from this mayhem - he loved it. He wasn't a paid operative (tin fol hat anyone?) and he certainly isn't Dakota... and yes, this IS the most worthless thread ever...
