Every year, Mavis makes a couple of pumpkin pies for her family's holiday get togethers. She has been doing this for so many years that it's a no-brainer for her…
…but, this year something strange happened.
When she took the two pies out of the oven, they looked quite different than they always have in the past.
These were from last year:

As you can see, they were a rich color and looked very appetizing.
I didn't photograph this years pies because the looked so pale, so colorless in comparison. They turned out to be an ugly looking pale beige color!
What was even more strange, Mavis was talking to one of her oldest friends, who lives in Fresno, and when she mentioned what happened to her pies, her friend said that she had the same thing happen.
We're all very puzzled about this and it has me wondering if Libby's been playing around with the pumpkin that they're using? Genetically modifying or something?
Anyway, I thought that I'd ask if anyone else noticed a difference with their pies.
