Libby's real pumpkin Santiam hybrid squash that looks off color cans used to say pumpkin pie filling not pumpkin.
Anyone else who made their own pumpkin pies notice something different this year?

Small cans only. Mavis doesn't like to use the big cans…
…and she NEVER uses the pumpkin "filling." Strictly a purist! ![]() Oh well… I'm having some of her amazing applesauce, right now, so I'm not missing the pumpkin pie. Maybe things will get back to normal for the Christmas pies?
