The NBA Season will begin soon ~!~
#1
Lots of talk of some major trades/defections.

Several teams want to retool with new players and put several high calibre
players on the same team.

Naturally there are players that seek to play
with other talented stars on the same team . . .

Think Miami Heat type deals possibly on the horizon.

If you like basketball, great, but I gotta say, it is SO not my thing.

Baseball and football for me.

Hockey I never could get into, either, but frankly, I'd take it over basketball any day.

I guess my point is just that hearing that the NBA season will begin soon is like hearing about a sale at Penney's to me.

Honestly... I thought there were no Clipper fans. I thought they just couldn't get in to see the Lakers...

Well, DRAT! I was enjoying the hockey season without the usual intrusion by the NBA. If there is a basketball game on, my hockey game gets shoved to another channel... or is pre-empted...

or 'to watch the end of tonight's game, switch to channel xyz 'cause we're switching over to the basketball game NOW'... I just LOVE that after watching 90min of time shifted coverage I lose the end of the game.

being a hockey fan in California is a lot like being a mac enthusiast in 1996.

If the name Los Angeles is on it, I'm a fan of it. Though I prefer the A's over the Angels since I live in Oakland. Born and raised in the City of Angels, I'm a HUGE Dodger's fan.

UnDoug, if you don't enjoy the NBA, you don't enjoy the finest sport with the most talented and skilled athletes. Also the MOST entertaining commentators and by a country mile the most entertaining analysts (Barkley, Kenny the Jet, etc. etc.). What team would you follow if you decided to watch?

I was a big Rams fan until they broke my heart. I switched to the Raiders.
