The non-Angry Birds version of the Roku 2 XS (which still comes with a full version of the Angry Birds game, but has the standard black case instead of the red case with the angry bird on it) is $90 this weekend - $10 off, also with free shipping.

Good luck.

Got the Angry Birds model. My daughter likes the bird on the case. Saved $5 over the regular XS, not going to complain.

I strongly considered the XD deal (already have one Roku 2 XD, love it), but if I want to pick up the Bluetooth gaming contoller, then I'll need to spend an extra $30 anyway.

I decided on the Roku 2 XD for $60 over a Touchpad. I was looking to pick one up for less than MSRP. Thanks for the link.

These things look so cool. Really makes getting a Blu-Ray player that can do just about the same thing, besides spin a physical disc, a difficult choice...

True. Blu-ray discs give better quality and do not require any bandwidth, but if your primary concern is the plethora of internet streaming choices (even local content if you don't mind testing some private channels), the Roku boxes are fine choices.

Have three, well…soon to be four Rokus, and love them all. They aren't perfect, but I don't own anything 100% trouble free. I'm not going to quibble.

Looks like I'm going to need a TV with multiple HDMI inputs, or an HDMI switch box . . .

(Of course, I need to get the HDMI port on our TV fixed, first, as well as our rooftop antenna.)
