It's like something out of a Jane Austen novel. The smart ambitious young woman scandalizes her conservative Catholic parents by moving in with a man 40 years her senior, and he's the doctor who delivered her, to boot. And he's the founder of Pennsylvania's first in-hospital abortion clinic and a leading pro-choice advocate.
Then she ends up married to Rick Santorum and they have 7 kids.

Truth, always stranger than fiction.

I don't see what any of this has to do with Santorum's qualifications to be President (which are nil, anyhow) but it surely is a wild story in its own right. It sounds like something from a primetime TV drama.
