I just read an article where the author spelled it "Super PAC" but quoted one guy who spelled it "super PAC" and then quoted another guy who spelled it "Super-PAC".
So I decided I'm going to put up a poll here and in future postings I will abide by whichever form of spelling gets the most votes.

English Grammar has certain rules. Persons writing news articles often consider those rules to be optional.
They are not. Such carelessness merely serves to reduce my opinion of their skills. If you cannot even be bothered to learn how to write properly, how can you be trusted to report accurately ?

Since my grammar skills suck, what are the rules of grammar that apply and what is the proper grammatical spelling?

"Super" is an adjective. When discussing a person or entity, it may be considered part of the entity's name.
PAC is an acronym for Political Action Committee. Acronyms should be used in a sentence the same way as the entire name should.
Thus, when used as part of a sentence:
"Mr. Colbert created a super PAC."
When used in a title:
Super PAC To the Rescue !

I agree except that political action committee is not capitalized. The acronym PAC of course does use capitals.

I go with Super Pac. You know why? Because I want to, I'm a descriptive grammarian and I think viewpoints like :nono: :judge: "English Grammar has certain rules" :judge: :nono: belong to kids who had their knuckles rapped by Uber Fussy nuns in grade school! :booty:

You forgot the "I don't give a flying flip" choice.
