Wow, you can shoot video on the iPhone!

Yeah, I know, I've just never done it.

Then yesterday we were at the Monterey Bay Aquarium where they have this OUTSTADING exhibit on seahorses. My still pictures just weren't cutting it (see the blog for my many excuses), when I remembered the iPhone.

I'm not very good with videos, and these are uneditied, But WOW these sea horses were just amazing! I'm not sure how to embed these, so you may need to go to the blog, but believe me, these guys are worth seeing.

Weedy Sea Dragons

Leafy Sea Dragon

If anyone is near this exhibit, it's well worth the price of admission.

And can anyone tell me why the video stutters and starts and stops? And maybe a decent editing app for the iPhone or iPad?

I didn't see any stuttering, the video was smooth as silk.

Regarding video editing apps, I can think of two, the new iMovie http://www.apple.com/ipad/from-the-app-s...movie.html , or Avid's editing app, Avid Studio Pro: http://www.avid.com/US/products/Avid-Studio-app

I love those things. They have a similar display at the Steinhart Aquarium that is inside the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. I was completely blown away that such creatures could exist the first time I saw them. You're right, you need to use video to do justice to them.

I saw stuttering only when playing at 1080p. Anything less was smooth.
You should try iMovie. Some people like it, other people not so much, but I would say it is the standard.
Great Footage!

Very nice! You should replace the audio with a narration: "Zee leffy sea dragonne eez a marvelez creahteur. Alzo zey meemeek ze apparanz ove kelpa, zey taist mower like feesh than plontah."
