While I tend to prefer the whole Deutsch/Zen Minimalism ethos, the Colors have a happy personal appeal. Sometimes minimal is depressing.

My Mom got the Flower Power one; it was quite good looking, all things considered. Ditto when I finally saw a Blue Dalmatian. Quirky, sure, but quirky is good.
One iMac I still miss is the Luxo style one. I had hoped to see this one go for a while, but due to the space requirements of going G5, as I recall, it got axed in favor of the flat panel.

I still have a few brand new, in-the-package Apple mouse pads with the old multi-color apple on a black background. I may have to break them out now.
