I don't like the idea of having to pay money to hire a lawyer to dispute an overcharge, it seems counterproductive. Only do it if you really need to. If you have a copy of the document handy, read it again, then scan/OCR the file so you can search for words and numbers. That way you can quickly dispute everything while on the phone.
I like the idea of refinancing and taking it out of their hands, but you might eventually end up with them again if you don't spend some time to do what cbelt3 did (and possibly settling for a higher interest rate).
