Detroit is having it's issues as many of you may know. But just this AM the Chief of Police was suspended for having an affair with a coworker after she found out he was at a conference with yet another woman and posted to Facebook (or Tweeted, I'm not sure)! Then she posted about killing herself so she was suspended and her weapon confiscated!
Now the employees of the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department are going to be fired after they went on strike to protest looming layoffs (this follows a report saying the W&S department was overstaffed and could reduce that number by something like 80%!) and subsequently refused a judge's order to return to work after ruling that the strike was illegal.
What a mess... Let's cheer for those Tigers!
