I wish the Cards had won so we could get revenge for '06... But I knew a few people from Detroit who went to California years ago and I'm having fun with the ones who moved to Frisco (I call it that when I want to annoy them).

Cool? I'd say cold! I'm surprised they let them play in that cold rain but I guess they had no choice. Game 4 forecast is temps in the upper 40's.

Most of my father's side of the family moved from Detroit to The City (San Francisco) after WWII.
Giants and Tigers in my lifetime is a godsend, I only wish my father, and the many other relatives that have passed, could have lived to see this World Series.
All the oldies from Chicago have passed away, but Baby Buzz was "made" in Chicago, so maybe he'll live long enough to see the Cubs rise again...
The Cards have always been a likable team, and I'd root for them against any AL team in the series except for the A's or Angels.

and yes, DP, your reference to my hometown is annoying.
