Try a Jerky Shooter? They require a firm grip as they have quite a recoil. Well, at least mine does!

I recently visited Cabela's with my cousin and saw one of these. Turns out my cousin is into making his own sausage and his own jerky also. Yesterday I met a hunter who said the meat is much higher quality than in the store. I can't vouch for that but I think anytime you make food as a hobby it can be highly rewarding.

I've been shot by a sausage gun many times.
