However, one manufacturer is taking things a step further. Sharp is showing a prototype of a 85-inch 8K LCD screen. At 7680 x 4320 pixels, the screen offers 16 times the resolution of a standard 1080 TV and would allow you to display a 33MP image without any downscaling or cropping. The image detail and vibrance of the screen is quite astonishing. You can only see individual pixels if you press your nose right onto the screen, a very immersive way of watching TV.
