Best Value Mac Pro?

That said, this chart:

Suggests that the Intel HD 3000 graphics in the current Mini wallops the Radeon HD 2600 XT card in the 2.8 8-core Mac Pro.

You are comparing a slightly less anemic than average onboard GPU with an ancient discrete card.

This is the GPU in my now dead 6 year old upper mid range Dell laptop, which is 1% below the HD 3000.

I would say their rating looks to be laughable when trying to compare different generations of video chips. In general, anything with a rating of under 1250 is pitiful for a recent computer that listed for over $700.

Thanks. Was trying to keep the focus on Mr645's best option for the most Mac for $1,000. On second look the 2600 is not that far off the HD 3000 (I must have looked at the wrong thing earlier.)
