A new Mac Pro is coming this spring, says French reseller France Systèmes. The company makes the statement in a newsletter, claiming to have been informed of the update by Apple.


In other news, a news advisory is expected to be issued by Apple presently that all new product releases will be announced via the France Systèmes newsletter going forward.

Keep in mind that Apple used the almost insignificant 2012 CPU speed bump in the Mac Pro as an excuse to market it as "new" even though the specs were otherwise identical to the 2010 model.

By that standard, a minor revision to the power supply to bring it into conformity with EU regs would also make a "new" Mac Pro.
