Part of Islam is at war with us. Should I have used 'Salafists' instead? I couldn't use 'Taliban' because apparently they weren't in the grand mountain fortress of Tora Bora, which turned out to be a bunch of small caves with a few hundreds Al Qaeda and a few days worth of supplies.

Anyway, Tora Bora was the first mighty bungle as the initial invasion went on. It became worse from there, especially after they pulled the resources to stop Saddam from unleashing his WMDs on behalf of Al Qaeda.
