Obama "Blew It" On Guns

I hold Obama at fault for things that are ... well, his fault. This isn't one of them. I'm not sure exactly what more they wanted him to do. He made sure it was all over the news for weeks. Had people coming together to try and work something out. Again, what exactly did they want him to do on his own to make it happen? Outside of "punching it in the end zone" or "make sure it got done" or whatever generalized, one liner type, specifics-free statements they made, of course. He is not to blame for this one. I'm sorry. If there was ever a topic that was ripe for the blame Oabama meme, this one is.

Deutsch says in the video Obama should have done "something" within 10 days and that because (the gun laws?) didn't change, Obama failed.

Did you post this, Mac-A-Matic, because you agree with Deutsch? Or disagree with Deutsch? Or you don't care but want to parade "a supporter" casting bad light on Obama, because supporters should never question rank, or because (in general) Obama=meh and so this random quarterbacking fits the bill?

While others will be quick to think whatever they think about my interests. I posted this here because I saw it on CNN.com and thought it was an interesting criticism of the president. The panel of people (all of whom I don't know from Adam) present a wide-range of positions on the gun issue - I thought that was interesting.

With regards to Deutsch, if indeed he is a big Obama supporter than I think his criticism says quite a lot to both Obama's role in the gun debate and a segment of the spectrum we don't see here: liberals who are willing to criticize their favored president.

I don't think Douche is really an Obama supporter. I would categorize him as media whore that is slightly more articulate and experienced than Paris Hilton.
